1.       Sachin Tendulkar holds the record most runs scored in one ODI innings. He is the one and only batsman to score 200 runs (147ball 25x4 3x6) in an ODI against South Africa

2.       He has the record of most runs in one day cricket, he the first batsman to score 200 runs in 147 balls with 25 fours and 3 sixes in ODI game against South Africa. This record was the highest for some period before Virendar Sehwag made 219 runs in a match against West indies in 2011.

3.       Sachin Tendulkar has the record of most runs in 452 innings of ODI cricketat with average of 44.83 and strike rate of 86.24. He is single cricketer who has ever scored 14000- 15000, - 16000, - 17000 & 18000 runs.

-          - Most overall runs in international cricket, (ODIs+Tests+Twenty20s), with 33,000 + runs overall ( in Tests, in ODIs) 

-          - Biggest Record of getting out the maximum number of times in the 90s in international matches.

-          - He has been dismissed 27 times (17 in ODIs and 10 in Tests) on scores of 90-99. The 18 nineties (dismissed 17 times and not out once) in ODIs are an ODI record too.
